Top Attacked Usernames by Cyber Criminals

The easiest way for a Cyber Criminal to break in to your network is to crack the Administrator or Root user password. That is because the Administrator account or Root user will not be locked out, after multiple failed logins. Therefore they can brute force the password to break in to your network.

Below is a list of the typical User accounts that are under attack every day. Check out also, compromised IP numbers, if your IP number is on this list you are sending out SPAM, and are therefore compromised, and a SPAM network is using your machine to SPAM the world.

Top Used Passwords that should be Avioded

Passwords are everywhere, and everyone has a password or two. The challenge is humans are very similar, therefore when we are requested to think of a password we engage in similar thought patterns to generate these, supposed, "Random" passwords. Unfortunately, the randomness of the human thought processes is not random at all. This results in very similar passwords being generated and reused again and again. As a minimum you should have a password for email accounts that is different than your gaming accounts, which is differ and stronger than your online banking passwords. In fact anytime your money is involved, the password should be unique, and should certainly not be on the list below. Do a "Control-F" and type in your password, if it shows up on the below list, you need to change it TODAY.

Compromised IP Addresses

SPAM is being sent out every day, millions and millions of eMails sent across the globe. The obvious solution to this is to block the SPAM server sending out all of this SPAM eMail. But here is the challenge, SPAM is sent from BOT nets. Networks of compromised PC's from across the globe. Most of the PC owners have no idea that their PC is compromised, nor do they have any idea their machine is sending out SPAM constantly.
